  I served as an RO(T) onboard the Amubscade from 1981 to 1983, taking in the first Armilla Gulf patrol, the Falklands conflict, and the second Armilla patrol.  I have some great memories, and made a lot of good friends.  I left the RN in 1987, and have been a Police Officer in the North Yorkshire Police for the last 20 years. (It's not nearly as much fun as being a young matelot!)
